Dollification
In this workshop, we dive deep into the world of dollification – the play of control, submission, and staging. It’s about how to create a doll, shape it, fill it with life, or take that away. We explore imaginative scenarios, the tension between absolute passivity and the power of the Doll Maker, and how to make all of this playful, safe, and consensual. A game of aesthetics, control, and endless possibilities – ready to create your individual doll or transform yourself into one?
Dollification is a unique aspect of BDSM in which individuals derive satisfaction from (partly/ completely) giving up their self-determination or – as in my case – taking control as a “Doll Maker” over those embodying the role of a doll. This practice allows for a new way of exploring relationships and power dynamics.
In this workshop, I will share my experiences as a passionate “Doll Maker” and provide insights into various forms of dollification. We will explore different ways to initiate a play session, from the portrayal of a motionless, passive doll to the gradual activation of specific functions through defined triggers or touch. Aesthetics, staging, creativity and power exchange play a central role in this dynamic.

In this workshop, I will teach both basic and advanced aspects of dollification as a BDSM practice. The focus will be on the following topics:

- What does dollification mean?
- Different roles: Doll and Doll Maker
- Negotiations and consent: Clarifying boundaries and expectations
- Practical Application
- Different ways to start the play: From a passive doll to an actively controlled figure
- Aesthetics and staging: Clothing, makeup, posture, and movement
- Interaction possibilities: Voice control, physical activation (“buttons,” strings, gestures)
- Dollification in the Context of Other BDSM Practices
- Intersections with other fetishes/ BDSM practices
- Dynamics between passivity and activity, dominance and submission
- Safety and Communication
- The importance of safewords and alternative communication methods
- Physical and psychological safety for both roles

Your Workshop Facilitator:
Jamie aka Transboy_Dom is a queer transmasculine BDSM dominus, BDSM performer and activist. They combine dominace, creativity, dedication and competence with a presence that transcends the boundaries of gender and norms.
Jamie wants to lead a doll play workshop because they see this fetish as an exciting and arousing way to explore identity, control, objectification, and role play through an artistic, childlike, and/or genderfluid lens. Their passion is in creating spaces where participants can immerse themselves in this imaginative and performative world— experiencing transformation, style, obedience, and theatricality. They also appreciate how doll play naturally blends with many other fetishes, making it a versatile practice that allows for exploring and expressing different desires.
