Shibari Master Class

Join us on an intensive journey into the art of Shibari. Explore the intricacies of sensual and meditative bondage, accompanied by Ron’s unique blend of expertise and sadistic nature. This Master Class goes beyond the traditional limits of Shibari and focuses on diversity and adaptation to accommodate people of all genders, body types and abilities.

Day 1:

• -Explore harness techniques tailored to different body types
• -Reconstruct harnesses using visual references, such as photos or videos
• -Deepens your theoretical and practical knowledge of harnesses
• -Gain a deep understanding of safety and nerve pathways
• -Discover different types of bondage and refine your personal style

Day 2:

• -Learn how to plan a rope session, from vision to execution
• -Learn more about the meaning and symbolism of sensual and ritual bondage
• -Transitions vs. movement in suspension
• -Learn how to incorporate elements of Predicament Bondage into the suspension
• -At the end of the workshop we will practice what we have learned and tie it up freely

Prerequisites:
To ensure a smooth learning experience, you should master the following techniques:

• -Single und Double Column Tie
• -Making a suspendable harness for the upper body, legs or hips
• -A solid understanding of tension and counter-tension principles

Materials Required:
At least eight hemp or jute ropes (6 or 8 mm thick) are needed, each eight metres long. These are provided free of charge for the course and can also be purchased.

Language of Instruction:
The workshop will be held in both English and German to provide a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.

Practice Partners:

Ideally there should be two of you, but you are also welcome to come alone. Individual participants must be willing to engage with other participants, as this is the only way to create a good learning atmosphere for the whole group and gain practical knowledge.
