Impact Play

This all-day workshop invites you to explore all the different dimensions of consensual impact play, while mastering the techniques that make it safe, intentional, and deeply satisfying for everyone involved.

Over the course of the day, we’ll move from theory to practice. We’ll cover the basics of anatomy, safety, and negotiation before spending the afternoon practicing with a wide range of tools: from hands and paddles to floggers, crops, whips, and canes. You’ll learn to create impact scenes that vary from playful to intense, tender to sadistic, erotic to meditative, all in one day. 

What You Will Learn

Safety, anatomy, and technique: Learn where (and how) to hit, how to warm up the body and manage intensity without risking injuries.
Tools of the trade: Try out what sensations you can create with various tools, like hands, paddles, floggers, crops, whips, canes, and even pervertibles—everyday objects that can be transformed into implements of pleasure (and pain).
Negotiation and consent: Develop your confidence in setting boundaries, reading feedback, and negotiating scenes that leave a lasting impact (emotionally and physically).
Rhetoric and intention: Discover the variety of directions you can choose for your impact scenes (discipline, reward, relief, and more) and how language can shape your experience.

Practice: Learning by Doing

In the second half of the workshop, you will spend several hours practicing your skills under the guidance of your instructor, Selina Morgan, who is professional Dominatrix and kink educator at studio LUX.

You will also be joined by experienced practice partners who will be bottoming for you and offering real-time feedback on technique, accuracy, and intensity. This is a rare chance to learn in a supportive, feedback-oriented setting that goes far beyond what’s possible at play parties or in private sessions.

All materials and tools are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
