Introduce yourself to the fascinating practice of suspension bondage. Suspension is one of the highlights of Shibari bondage and combines aesthetics and adrenaline in an unforgettable mix. Nevertheless, this art involves skilfulness since it may pose threats to safety. In this workshop, therefore, not only gives you the taste of the magic but also enables you to learn the important techniques that will keep you and your partner safe during playtime.

In this workshop you will learn techniques but also different ways of using your body in suspension bondage. Understanding body movement and possibilities will help you to plan your suspension better.

You will learn:
-Safety First: Delve into the essentials of safety in suspension bondage, coupled with comprehensive aftercare practices.
-Suspension Planning: Learn the art of setting your intention for suspension, ensuring a harmonious and secure experience.
-Uplines and Harness Placement: Grasp the intricate details of creating uplines and their strategic placement on the harness for optimal suspension.
-Handling Weight: Gain confidence in suspending bodies heavier than yours, exploring the dynamics of balance and control.

Prerequisites:
To ensure a seamless learning experience, participants should be proficient in the following.
-Single and double column ties
-Crafting suspendable harnesses for the upper body, legs, or hips
-A solid understanding of tension and counter-tension principles

Materials Required:
Bring at least five hemp or jute ropes (6 or 8 mm thickness), each eight meters long. These can be provided free of charge for the course – and can also be purchased.

Language of Instruction:
The workshop will be conducted in both English and German, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.

Practice Partners:
While you’ll have the opportunity to practice with other participants, you’re welcome to bring your practice partner. Note that due to limited slots, your partner must also register for the workshop.
